This foundation is a public charity served by volunteers living throughout Laurens County.

It has its own by-laws and a board of directors consisting of 16 residents of Laurens County, all of whom are volunteers. The members are elected for specific terms.

Board members are chosen for the interest and commitment they have shown toward enhancing and perpetuating the quality of life in Laurens County, as well as for their professional skills in finance and other disciplines.

A finance committee composed of selected board members and local financial professionals manages the foundations assets.
